The Future is CarbonZero for Kenya’s Tourism Industry

co2balance will be unveiling the work of their pioneering new Kenyan Carbon Offset Project, the “Low Carbon Village”, in November in an event which will feature the Kenyan Minister of Tourism, the Rt Hon Najib Mohamed Balala.

Two events are taking place on the 6th November 2008, the first  at 10am at the Kenyan High Commission in Westminster, the second is at Clydesdale Bank's Knightsbridge Branch in London at 8pm.

The Rt Hon Najib Mohamed Balala will be talking about Kenya’s move into sustainable tourism, and co2balance director Mike Rigby will be giving a presentation on the success of co2balance’s project activity in Kenya, detailing how the projects go above and beyond carbon saving, and involve a three-pronged approach of creating environmental, social and financial benefits to the local community.
